White Maple Dresser
We fell in love with this piece as soon as we saw it. There is just something about the classic lines and simple wood knobs we have been drawn to lately. Maybe we're just craving a little simplicity in our lives. We're guessing we could all go for a little bit of that right now. Needless to say, we decided to keep her simple, clean, & fresh.
Nothing says clean like white!
The body of the dresser was painted in our favorite white, Swiss Coffee by Behr, a beautiful, warm white. We ever so slightly distressed the edges for an authentic time-worn look.
The top was sanded down to raw wood. We then gave it a whitewash keeping everything light & fresh.
The four dovetailed drawers are in amazing condition. They have been sanded down inside and out, cleaned and wiped down with Howard's Feed-N-Wax to keep them hydrated and in good working order. The original wood knobs have also been cleaned, sanded, painted, and lightly distressed to go along with the rest of the piece.
Finally, we sealed the entire piece in clear wax for a beautiful matte finish that we think complements the dresser perfectly.
This piece would look great in any room, offering up lots of storage!
