Collard Greens Dresser

We can not even begin to tell you how excited we are about this gorgeous green color by Dixie Belle. Collard Greens is a stunner! 

After searching for a while we finally came across the perfect piece to highlight this beautiful color. We had a vision of what we wanted, we just needed to find the right piece. Once we did everything just fell into place. 

This dresser was in rough shape appearance-wise but structurally sound, making it a great makeover piece.

Once we got her cleaned and sanded we repaired any of the chipped veneer and scratches. We then gave her a couple of coats of primer and she was ready for paint. 

We can't even begin to tell you how ecstatic we were when we started brushing on this color. This is a must-see color. Pictures just don't do it justice.

We replaced the original hardware with brass knobs and pulls. We added label holders to give more of an apothecary look that we love and thought was perfect for this piece. To complete the look we added brass ball castor wheels. Not only do they add to the look but make the piece super easy to move around. They do lock so you can keep the dresser set in place.

The 4 spacious dove-tailed drawers have been cleaned and sanded inside and out. We then hydrated & conditioned the wood using Howard's Feed-N-Wax.
